Dr. Sherita Hill Golden, MD MHS, is a physician-scientist focused on diabetes epidemiology, health services research and disparities, and she is the Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for Johns Hopkins Medicine. Her State of the Art Lecture on ‘Disruptive Innovations to Achieve Health Equity Through Healthcare and Research Transformation’ will provide an overview on the historical context around health disparities, discuss the disruptive approaches that aid patient health equity and share insightful lessons from the pandemic.
