Session Description

The Infectious Diseases (INF) Community looks forward to presenting a discussion on the current state of infectious disease drug research and development. Speakers from industry, academia, and research organizations will offer differing perspectives on questions that are at the forefront at this critical time in ID research. As the medical and scientific community are recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, the questions dealing with 'where-to next?' are paramount, and different viewpoints are more valuable than ever. Please join us during our Community session to hear this lively discussion and goals for the 2022 INF Community of ASCPT.

Learning Objectives

1. Upon completion, participant will be able to compare differing perspectives on challenging questions the infectious disease medical and scientific community faces in the wake of COVID-19 moving forward.

2. Upon completion, participant will be able to summarize the goals and structure of the INF community and understand the forward vision for 2022 and beyond.
