Dr. Zhinous Yazdi, is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at University of Maryland School of Medicine with appointment in the Department of Medicine. She earned her MD from Kerman University of Medical Sciences and then completed residency in internal medicine and got her internal medicine board at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. She currently studies pharmacogenomics of response to canagliflozin under the mentorship of Drs. Simeon Taylor and Amber Beitelshees. She receives financial support from the T32 Program (T32DK098107).
