Yanhua Ding, MD, PhD

The First Hospital of Jilin University

DING Yanhua, M.D., Ph.D., is currently a chief physician and a professor at the First Hospital of Jilin University (the “Hospital”) and the chairperson of the Jilin Province Clinical Pharmacology Professional Committee. She has been engaged in clinical work in internal medicine at the Hospital for more than 30 years since 1987, and has become the director of the Phase I Clinical Trial Unit of the Hospital since 2011. Up to now, she has completed more than 200 clinical trials as the leading principal investigator in the field of liver, metabolic, and cardiovascular diseases. As the person in charge, she has undertaken three major projects of the New Drug Innovation Platform during the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plan periods and three general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
