LCDR Wambui Chege MD, FACP is an officer in the US Public Health Service and the Physician Policy Advisor in the Division of Medical Policy Development, Office of Medical Policy Initiatives within the Office of Medical Policy, part of the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. She earned her MD from the Weill Cornell University College of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell. She and her team are currently exploring factors that may influence clinical trial diversity, to support clinical trial participation that reflects the population for which a given medical product is intended.
