Yasmine Gabal is currently an ORISE fellow in the Oral Drug Products Group in ORS/OGD. She received her B.Sc. in pharmaceutical sciences followed by an M.Sc. degree in pharmaceutics and drug technology at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. In 2020, Yasmine earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University. Yasmine is highly active with experience in both drug delivery and gene therapy research areas. She has several years of experience in optimization of lipid nanoparticles, in situ gels, pharmacokinetics and brain drug delivery. Her research in gene therapy focused on optimization and cellular trafficking of different gene delivery vectors either viral or synthetic vectors. She has demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills in multiple settings. She thrives in working as a collaborative team member sharing different thoughts to meet the team goal.
