Merck & Co., Inc.
Whitney Handy, PharmD, is a 2nd-year fellow in Translational Medicine at Merck. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salisbury University, later received her PharmD from Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy and is in the process of obtaining her MBA from Rutgers University. Her involvement in research is what ultimately led her to pursue a role in early phase clinical development. She has found great interest in working to transition a drug from the pre-clinical landscape into the clinic for the first time. Whitney currently supports the infectious disease, neuroscience, and oncology therapeutic areas with her work in Translational Medicine as well as Clinical Sciences & Study Management at Merck.
