Clinical Pharmacologist

Sara Salerno has been working as a clinical pharmacologist at Gilead for the past year. Prior to this role, she obtained her PharmD from the department of pharmacy at the University of California at San Francisco as well as her PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the department of pharmacotherapy and experimental therapeutics. Her graduate research focused on modeling and simulation to optimize dosing in the pediatric population with a focus on the application of physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling to characterize drug-drug interaction potential in infants and children.
