Dr. Trang Nguyen, PharmD, is currently a 2nd Year Graduate Student of the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research at the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy, and a Clinical Pharmacist at Walgreens Pharmacy. She earned her PharmD from the University of Florida and is currently pursuing her interest in Cardio Oncology Pharmacogenomics research at the college. Specifically, she is investigating biomarkers for carfilzomib-related cardiovascular adverse events with an intention to prevent cardiotoxicity in those receiving carfilzomib-based therapy. She has been a member of ASCPT since 2021 and will present her abstract at the ASCPT Annual Meeting in March 2022.
