Monica Bennett is a third year PharmD candidate at University of Florida’s Jacksonville campus. She earned her BS in Chemistry from the Virginia Military Institute in 2012. Upon graduation she commissioned as an Officer into the United States Navy and served until October 2019. She is currently serving in two leadership roles on her campus, one as President of her local Kappa Psi chapter and the other as the APhA-ASP Vice President of Policy. She began her research in Leiomyosarcomas in 2019. She applied and was accepted into the University of Florida’s Intensive Summer Research Program in 2021 and recently presented her research at two UF research showcases. Monica is also pursuing a Certificate in Personalized Medicine and is expected to graduate in May 2023.
