Dr. Julia C. F. Quintanilha, PhD, is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy at Chapel Hill. She earned her Pharmacy Degree from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and her Masters and PhD from the University of Campinas, Brazil. She studies cancer pharmacogenomics with a focus on hypertension induced by vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitors. She currently has a fellowship from the American Heart Association (AHA) and the preliminary results of her fellowship project will be presented at the ASCPT 2022 Annual Meeting. She has published both original research and review papers in the cancer pharmacogenomics area and has presented her research at international oncology and pharmacology meetings.
