Laura Ramsey, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Divisions of Clinical Pharmacology and Research in Patient Services, Pharmacy Research at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics. She is the Co-Director of the Genetic Pharmacology Service that implements pharmacogenetic testing in clinical care. Her research focuses on the pharmacogenetics of antidepressants and the pharmacogenetics and pharmacokinetics of methotrexate in pediatric patients. She was the inaugural recipient of the Darrel Abernethy Early Stage Investigator Award from ASCPT, currently serves on ASCPT's Career Development Committee, and has served on the leadership of the ACPT Pharmacogenomics Community.
