Dr. Joseph M. Collins, PhD, is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Florida Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research Department. He earned his PhD from the University of Florida Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology department before changing fields to work in human research. He currently studies pharmacogenetics with a focus on regulatory variants contributing to variation in gene expression. He has published several original research articles in this area and presented the findings at conferences. He has been a member of ASCPT since 2019.
