Dr. Goteti Kosalaram, is currently a Senior Scientific Director and Portfolio Section Head in Quantitative Pharmacology Department at EMD Serono (A business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany). He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Utah and Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics from Texas A&M University. Kosalaram has nearly 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry both in large and small molecule drug development. Prior to joining EMD Serono he had worked in Roche, AstraZeneca and Pfizer in various capacities of increasing responsibilities from Discovery through Development. Most recently, Kosalaram served as Co-lead for the IQ disease progression modeling workgroup and was a panelist on the November 2021 FDA disease progression modeling workshop. He is also involved in several workgroups representing EMD Serono with the Lupus Research Alliance. Kosalaram's interests include modeling and simulation across the drug development continuum in collaboration with other discplines to support informed and timely decision making.
