Dr. Jacob T. Brown, PharmD, MS is an assistant professor with the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. Dr. Brown trained as a PGY1 pharmacy resident and pediatric clinical pharmacology fellow at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He currently has ongoing research collaborations focusing on the pharmacogenetics of antidepressants and behavior and development medications with Children’s Minnesota and Essentia Health. At the same time, Dr. Brown has led the implementation of pharmacogenetic dose guidelines in an outpatient clinic in collaboration with medication therapy management pharmacists. Dr. Brown was one of the leaders of the atomoxetine/CYP2D6 CPIC guideline published in 2019.
