Michael L Williams is currently a PhD candidate under the mentorship of Dr. Leena Choi at the Department of Biostatistics of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He earned his BS from the University of Michigan in 2011 and spent time working as a lab technician and math teacher. In the Choi lab, he is focused on developing systems to leverage medication information from the electronic health record to perform post-market studies of drugs. He also employs these systems to perform original research in the form of population pharmacokinetic studies of tacrolimus and fentanyl in observational cohorts.
