Dr. Dooley is a Professor of Medicine & Pharmacology with appointments in Clinical Pharmacology and Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins University. She earned her MD from Duke University, MPH from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and PhD at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on tuberculosis therapeutics with an emphasis on clinical trials of TB drugs and HIV/TB co-treatment, and she maintains an HIV clinical practice. She is a consultant to WHO and has been a member of their Guidelines Development Committees for TB therapeutics. She is Co-Director of the T32 supported clinical pharmacology training program at Johns Hopkins. She has served in community and network leadership in ASCPT.
