Dr. Ragueneau-Majlessi, MD, MS, is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Washington (UW). She is co-founder of the UW Drug Interaction Database (DIDB) and is currently the Director of UW Drug Interaction Solutions (www.druginteractioninfo.org), a research program dedicated to the mechanistic understanding and clinical management of pharmacokinetic drug-drug interactions (DDIs). She started working at the University of Washington in 1999, as a Research Associate, then Principal Research Scientist and Project Manager for the DIDB. In November 2009, she joined the faculty of the Department of Pharmaceutics as Clinical Associate Professor and was promoted to full Professor in 2014. Dr. Ragueneau-Majlessi has published both original research and review papers in the areas of DDIs, drug disposition and clinical pharmacology. She is interested in the regulatory framework of DDI assessment and the clinical relevance and risk management of drug interactions. In 2016-2018, she was named a UW CoMotion Presidential Innovation Fellow for her work on the DIDB. She has been a member of ASCPT since 2003.
