Distinguished Scientist

Larissa is a Distinguished Scientist in Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (QP2) at Merck & Co., Inc. and is currently Chair of the DRO Network within ASCPT. She has worked across a broad spectrum of drug development, including translational support of discovery programs, authorship of clinical regulatory filings, interactions with regulatory agencies around the world, and post-approval support. Her work has spanned a number of therapeutic areas, notably HIV and cardiovascular disease, and has included a number of pediatric programs. She serves on the Pediatric Development Committee at Merck and is a member of the IQ Pediatric Working Group. Prior to joining Merck, Larissa received undergraduate degrees in History and Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and conducted post-doctoral research at Northwestern University.
