Dr. Lulu Chu is currently an Associate Director at Takeda with the Cellular Pharmacology and Modeling Group. She holds a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Virginia and obtained her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. Upon PhD graduation, Lulu worked as a Disease modeling scientist and an Associate Director in the department of Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology at AstraZeneca, where she led modeling activities or contributed to quantitative systems pharmacology platforms, with applications to projects/compounds in both immuno-oncology (IO) therapies as well as therapies in late-stage metabolic diseases. Following AstraZeneca, she worked as a principal scientist II at Novartis and led modeling activities in anti-CD3 bispecifics in IO and NASH (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis) platforms to support drug development decision making questions. Lulu has been a member of ASCPT since 2018 and serves as the Chair for the Systems Pharmacology community currently.
