Dr. Bhargava Kandala, is currently a Principal Scientist in Quantitative Pharmacology Pharmacometrics group at Merck. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and an MS in Statistics from the University of Florida. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the Dep of Pharmaceutics at UF. His expertise is in applying model informed drug development (MIDD) approaches to develop novel therapies in a wide range of therapeutic areas including infectious diseases. He has published original research in this area and has presented his work at national and international clinical pharmacology meetings.
