My name is Brooke Smith and I am a dual DVM/PhD student studying swine nutrition under Dr. Ryan Dilger at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research focuses on dietary soy bioactives and their immunomodulatory actions on the immune response in disease-challenged swine. My hope is to apply my findings and research experience as a swine veterinary consultant in the future.
