Caitlyn Sullivan is pursuing a M.S. in Nonruminant Nutrition under Dr. Bob Thaler, at South Dakota State University. Her thesis focuses on sustainability within the swine industry, specifically in the use of hybrid rye in finishing diets and the effects associated with growth performance, carcass characteristics, agronomics and milling efficiency. With her background in commercial farming, she plans to advocate the sustainable model determined to address producer concern and explain profitable outcome.
