Léa Cappelaere is a PhD student at Université Laval (Québec, Canada), working on low crude protein diets for pigs and their application to improve sustainability with Marie-Pierre Létourneau-Montminy, PhD. She graduated from AgroParisTech (Paris, France) in 2019 with a MSc grade, specializing in animal science. She worked at Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition Europe (now METEX Noovistago) until January 2021 when she started her PhD. She focused on low crude protein diets for pigs and broilers, energy nutrition, modeling of emissions and impacts and environmental evaluation.
