Su A Lee is a Ph. D. student at the University of Illinois where she works under the guidance of Dr. Hans H. Stein in the Stein Monogastric Nutrition Laboratory. She is from the Republic of Korea and received BS and MS degrees in Animal Science from Konkuk University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Previous research includes work to predict energy values in feed ingredients fed to pigs. Su A’s research towards her Ph. D. degree was focused on area of macrominerals- specifically in the digestibility of calcium in feed ingredients fed to gestating sows and growing pigs. Now she is working as a postdoctoral research associate at the same laboratory and most of her research is to evaluate feed ingredients in terms of digestibility of AA, P and Ca and metabolizable and net energy. She has published 22 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and 9 non-peer reviewed publications and 27 abstracts.
