Lauren Hansen is a current MS.c. student studying monogastric nutrition under Dr. Lee-Anne Huber at the University of Guelph. Her research is focused on analyzing growth performance, feed efficiency, carcass and meat quality, along with immune robustness in the offspring of sows fed precision and control diets during gestation. She anticipates to focus further research into the significance of maternal nutrition during gestation for optimal fetal development and its impact on swine production.
