Dr. Leanne Brooks is a Nutritionist for Smithfield Foods. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Animal Science from Virginia Tech and her Ph.D. in Animal Science from North Carolina State University. She is the primary nutritionist for Smithfield's Rocky Mountain and Midwest regions and oversees food safety for all company owned feed mills. Before her employment with Smithfield, she worked as a consulting nutritionist for several producers in the Southeast.
