Brad Belstra is originally from DeMotte, IN and early experience in feed milling and swine production set him on a path to study animal science. He is a BS and MS graduate of Purdue University and PhD graduate of North Carolina State University. Brad worked for IMV Technologies to provide technical support for their animal reproduction products and computer-assisted sperm analysis system sales. He then spent nine years at Smithfield Premium Genetics in North Carolina as technical director of boar stud operations and associated programs. He then joined Fast Genetics to development of a path to apply sex-sorted sperm to swine breeding on a large scale as has been established in cattle by their parent company, Sexing Technologies. Brad is currently the Director of MB Swine Reproduction, a Magapor distributor focused on technologies to improve swine breeding effeciency.
