Su A Lee is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Illinois where she works with Dr. Hans H. Stein in the Stein Monogastric Nutrition Laboratory. She is from the Republic of Korea and received BS and MS degrees in Animal Science from Konkuk University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Previous research during the BS and MS degrees includes work to predict energy values in feed ingredients fed to pigs. Su A’s research towards her Ph. D. degree was focused on area of macrominerals- specifically in the digestibility of calcium in feed ingredients fed to gestating sows and growing pigs. Now most of her research is to evaluate feed ingredients in terms of digestibility of AA, P and Ca and metabolizable and net energy. She has published 30 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and 13 non-peer reviewed publications and 30 abstracts.
