Zixiao Deng is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Animal Science, NC State University. He received his B.A. and M.A. in animal science from South China Agriculture University, China. He has been dedicated to research investigating alternative protein sources replacing animal proteins in the nursery pig diets under the direction of Dr. Sung Woo Kim.
