Samuel Kiprotich is a doctoral student supervised by Dr. Greg Aldrich in the Department of Grain Science & Industry at Kansas State University. Samuel’ research focuses on the use of non-thermal technologies and food additives to control foodborne pathogens in semi-moist and raw meat-based diets for companion animals. He earned a B.S in Food Science and Technology from Makerere University, Uganda, and an M.S in Food Science with a focus in food safety and microbiology from Iowa State University. Samuel has presented at an at an annual meeting for the International Association for Food Protection.
