Part one will be a Mental Health Discussion on returning from COVID, which is sponsored by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM with Dr. Brett Scofield from Penn State University Center for Counseling and Psychological Services who will talk about College Student Mental Health: General Trends, the Impact of the Pandemic, the Story of Collegiate Mental Health Over the Past Decade, and Next Steps
Part two will be How do I become an asset for the role I want? A Panel discussion addressing ways to set yourself up for your ideal role post-graduation? We will have a diverse panel of industry representatives and academic professionals in teaching, research, and extension roles speaking about what they have done through graduate school (and into their careers) to set themselves up for success in their unique appointments.
