Hailey Galyon received her MS in Dairy Science from Virginia Tech in Spring '22. Her research involved collaborating with the Materials Science and Engineering department to evaluate the suitability of biodegradable polymers to replace typical single-use agricultural plastics, like net wrap, in the case of animal ingestion. Since then she joined the lab of Dr. Gonzalo Ferreira and is working toward a PhD in Ruminant Nutrition at Virginia Tech.
