Jessica Petersen is an assistant professor in Animal Genetics and Genomics at the Unviersity of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research team focuses on identifying functional variation associated with performance traits in horses and cattle. Dr. Petersen currently serves as a lead PI of the equine FAANG (Functional Annotation of Animal Genomes) project.
