Erin Amiss is from outside of Richmond, Virginia where she grew up on a commercial beef operation. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Animal and Veterinary Science at Clemson University under Dr. Nathan Long. Her concentration is bovine reproduction with her thesis research being on bovine pregnancy loss. She has been a teaching assistant for Animal Genetics, Beef Production, Physiology of Reproduction, and Bovine Reproductive Technologies. She received my Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech where she was involved in bovine reproduction research and was an undergraduate teaching assistant for Bovine Reproductive Technologies. In the summer of 2020, she was the Beef Genetic Nucleus Herd intern with ABS Global.
