First generation college graduate, retired collegiate athlete and a fully financial active member of the most illustrious Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. I grew up on a small stocker operation in Southwest Oklahoma. I obtained my Bachelors of Science from Oklahoma State University in Animal Science. I had a chance to work at their Purebred Beef Center Range for two years, I was able to gain valuable experience during my time there.
After graduation in 2020 i accepted a job opportunity with Tyson Foods Inc. in Rogers, Arkansas where I held the title of FSQA Associate and after a year i found myself back in search of graduate school. I talked to schools all over the country but i came to a decision to go down to the road to the University of Arkansas under Dr. Ken Coffey in ruminant nutrition. My time here so far has been the most rewarding as well as the most stressful times of my life but that is graduate school for you.
I am excited to finish up my work here and decide where i would like to obtain my Phd. There is much more work to be done and I am excited for the journey ahead.
