I am Mengqi Wang, a PhD student at Laval University and I am doing my research as a research assistant in Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Sherbrooke Research and Development Center. My study is focusing on Animal genetics and Epigenetics, especially the whole genome-wide DNA methylation pattern and the potential of DNA methylation in livestock production and diseases. I had more than 6 years of research experience in genetics and epigenetics with a solid foundation in research project design, wet-lab work, molecular / bioinformatics analysis, and manuscript writing.
