I am from Medellin, Colombia.I got my bachelor's degree in animal science in 2011 in Bogota at the National University of Colombia.
Currently I am doing my master in animal science at the University of Illinois, where I will be finishing the master program in May 2019, and the tittle of my thesis is "use of feed technology to improve nutritional value of feed ingredients fed to growing pigs". I have conducted several studies about the effects of pelleting mixed diets, and the effects of extrusion of feed ingredients in growth performance and nutrient digestibility in swine.
