Sara Tondini is currently a 3rd year Ph.D. student working under Dr. Josh McCann in Beef Cattle Nutrition at the University of Illinois. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Her research intersects ruminant nutrition and microbiology to unravel complex interactions of cellulolytic-degrading bacteria in the rumen.
