Stephanie McKay is an Associate Professor of Genetics and Genomics in the Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at the University of Vermont. She obtained her Bachelors and Master’s degrees from Texas A&M University, her PhD from the University of Alberta and moved to the University of Missouri for her Postdoctoral Fellowship before moving to Vermont in 2012. The overarching interest of the McKay lab is to identify what proportion of genetic variation associated with complex traits is influenced by environmental factors and subsequently, epigenetic modifications.
