While the prevalence of tobacco use is decreasing, smoking still accounts for 20% of all U.S. deaths. This session will review the prevalence and trends of tobacco use, tobacco use disorder, and related co-morbidities. Participants will learn about the different evidence-based treatment options for tobacco use disorder and unique challenges to smoking cessation for special populations.
