Maria Rahmandar, MD, is an attending physician in The Potocsnak Family Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Anne & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, with a secondary appointment in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Rahmandar serves as the founding Medical Director for the Substance Use & Prevention Program, and and Overdose Education & Naloxone Distribution Program. Her clinical, research, education and advocacy interests include adolescent substance use, mental health and contraception. Among her leadership roles, Dr Rahmandar serves as an E-Cigarette Faculty Expert for the American Acadmeny of Pediatrics and serves on the Illinois Society of Addiction Medicine Board of Directors.
