Pam Pietruszewski is a Senior Advisor with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing with specialties in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT). She has more than 20 years’ experience designing and implementing programs to integrate behavioral health and primary care services. Her work includes the Reducing Adolescent Substance Abuse Initiative funded by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and DIAMOND, a depression care management program that received the 2010 Gold Award from the American Psychiatric Association. She is listed in the National Registry of SBIRT Trainers from the Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) Network established by SAMHSA and is published in several peer-reviewed journals including the Annals of Family Medicine, Substance Abuse, Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings, and Mental Health Family Medicine. She holds a master's degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary's University in Minnesota.
