Medical Student
Boston University School of Medicine, Massachusetts
Nivetha Saravanan is a fourth-year medical student at Boston University School of Medicine currently applying into internal medicine residency training programs. Nivetha has had a demonstrated interest in addiction medicine from volunteering in a needle exchange program, formerly leading her medical school's outreach van project, and working with Boston Medical Center's Project RESPECT clinic for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders. Through these pursuits, she has become invested in increasing medical trainees' knowledge and skills around the holistic treatment of individuals with SUD. Her non-medical interests include hiking up in the White Mountains, watching Netflix docuseries, and finding new recipes to cook.
