Director of Mental Health Education Programing

Dana Lehman, PsyD (she/ her) is the Director of Mental Health Educational Programming at AIDS Care Group. The organization is dedicated to working for and within populations adversely affected by stigma, poor access to care, discrimination and poverty, while using its resources to provide comprehensive and compassionate clinical care to persons living with leading public health conditions including, addiction, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C and mental illness.
In her role as Programming Director, Dr. Lehman is responsible for implementing and directing all training programs under the Psychology Department’s umbrella. These programs include the psychology postdoctoral residency program, the APA accredited internship program and the practicum program. In addition, she serves as the Director of The Institute for Public Health Psychology, which provides continuing education training for psychologists, under the AIDS Care Group umbrella organization. As a health psychologist by training, Dr. Lehman is particularly interested in the intersection between physical and mental health. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of addiction, chronic health conditions, and eating disorders.
