Joseph M. Martin, MD is currently a EMS Fellow at UT Health San Antonio and is a specialist in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. He is interested in using his unique training and experience background to strongly advocate for the research of and improvement of first responder's health and well-being, as well as working to expand access to treatment with MAT to the substance abuse population via EMS and paramedicine clinicians. He continues to actively practice within the emergency department, EMS medical direction and field response, as well as community addiction medicine.
