Vishesh Agarwal, M.D., is an inpatient psychiatrist specializing in addiction psychiatry with Christiana Care Health System. He joined Christiana Care from a nationally recognized behavioral health center where he worked with patients and care teams in the methadone program, buprenorphine and comorbid substance misuse clinic. Dr. Agarwal is board-certified in psychiatry and addiction psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Agarwal, earned his medical degree from Gauhati Medical College, India and completed his general psychiatry residency from the Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at the Zucker Hillside Hospital in Glen Oaks, New York.
Dr. Agarwal is a member of the American Psychiatry Association, International Society for ECT and Neurostimulation, and American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology.
