Dr. James P. d’Etienne MD, MBA, FACEP is Chief of Emergency Research Division for JPS Health Network. He is principal investigator for the Right Treatment Right Time (SAMHSA ED-ALT) grant directed at reducing opioid prescribing and providing opioid use disorder treatment, harm reduction, and bridge clinic services through the emergency department. Additionally, he is medical director for opioid use disorder bridge clinic and Co-Investigator for a Texas Health and Human Services Support Hospital Opioid Use Disorder Treatment (SHOUT) grant directed at improved care for hospitalized patients with opioid use disorder.
