Sarah Hipkens, MD, Addiction Medicine Fellow, Maine Medical Center
Dr. Hipkens attended medical school at Columbia University and then completed her family medicine residency at the Beth Israel/Mount Sinai Urban Family Medicine program in New York City. She stayed on as faculty at the Beth Israel/Mount Sinai program for six years serving as the downtown residency's prenatal coordinator, facilitating the diabetes shared medical visit program and co-chairing the addiction treatment QI committee. She then worked for one year with the start-up company Cityblock, a company striving to decrease health disparities and improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations. She is now a current addiction medicine fellow at Maine Medical Center.
