Ashley Cantu-Weinstein is a second-year medical student at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine; she received a BA in Religious Studies, Chemistry, and Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019, where she graduated with distinction, highest honors, and induction into Phi Beta Kappa. Her research interests include reproductive psychiatry, addiction medicine, racial disparities in health, and the spirituality of physical & mental health. She served on the boards of her medical school's Latino Medical Student Association as the Community Service Liaison, the LGBTQ+ advocacy group as the Research & Mentorship chair, and the student-run free clinic as the chair of the Quality Improvement Committee.
